Welcome to the Elvi (London) Ltd t/a Elvi website (the 'site'). Please use this section for information about the terms and conditions that govern your use of the site. You will also find information on orders, returns as well as your security whilst using the site. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Complete Satisfaction Promise Limited ('Elvi') guarantees your total satisfaction with our products and services. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return the items to us within 28 days of receipt of order, *Sale items must be returned within 14 days of purchase and we will be happy to exchange or issue a credit note, providing the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Please note that pierced products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Shortages must be notified within 7 days of receipt.

Making Returns
You must return your items by post by completing the returns form, which can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of the page. You will need to pay for returning the goods via post. Pack the items back in the parcel, attach the returns note and send it back to:

When returning items you will be required to pay for the postage. We strongly recommend that you send the items via recorded delivery, so that you may track your parcel accordingly. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

A prompt refund will be issued if the item is in its original condition and all the information referred to above is received. The credit/debit card used for the original purchase will be credited with the original price. If there are any problems with your refund, a member of customer services will contact you. Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to be processed.

Contract for Sale
The advertising of products on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Elvi, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive an email confirmation. Your order will be despatched once credit/debit card authorisation has been confirmed and stock levels have been confirmed.

These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Elvi on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Elvi will operate as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them.

Receipt of Order
We must receive full payment for your order before it can be processed. You will receive an email confirmation with your order details. Once your credit/debit card has been authorised and the ordered item/s have been confirmed in the warehouse, we will dispatch your order.

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse your order. This will be subject to our discretion.

Customs & Import Duty
Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the customer and custom charges may vary by country.

Cancellations and Exchanges
After placing your order, should you wish to cancel or change this, please contact our customer services team, and they will amend this based on their discretion. Please note that once the order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, and will have to be returned to us once you receive the order.

If you wish to exchange an item, please specify the colour/size/style you wish to receive in exchange. If the requested item(s) is available on receipt of your return, this will be dispatched promptly. The requested item must be of equal monetary value to the original item. You will not be required to pay for postage once again. If the item is not in stock, a refund/credit note will be issued accordingly.

Defective and Damaged Items
If you should receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us within 14 days a member of our customer services team will advise you accordingly.

To securely receive your payments over the Internet we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the standard Internet practice and means your details are protected. You can see that you are in a secure environment through the 'padlock' symbol on Microsoft Internet Explorer or 'key' symbol on Netscape Navigator. SSL works with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.0 and later/ Netscape Browser versions 2.0 and later. We feel it's important to have this level of security available, so anyone using lower version browsers should contact us by phone to place an order.

Elvi work to keep the site up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free of technical errors. By using this site, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with this site. We are also not liable for any damages associated with use of this site however caused, incorrect prices or information.

If you are not satisfied with the site, then please email us with your comments. However, your only legal recourse is to stop using the site.

Cool Off Period
Customers are legally entitled to cancel an order within 7 working days of receipt of the product and to return it for a full refund. However, for your convenience we extend your ability to return an unsatisfactory online purchase for up to 28 days.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order within a period of 7 working days. The period of 7 working days begins on the day after the day you receive your goods. You must inform us of your wish to cancel in writing either by letter or email within a period of 7 working days. The period of 7 working days begins on the day after the day you receive your goods. You must take reasonable care of the goods and not use them. You should return goods to us in their original packaging, wherever possible, as soon as possible after informing us of your wish to cancel. If you return goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.

Customer Responsibility
Elvi cannot guarantee that the sale and delivery of its goods to your particular country or location is permissible, so please be aware of your own geographic import restrictions.

This site and its contents will not constitute the basis for any contractual commitment between Elvi and any prospective customer in any jurisdiction in which the solicitation of interest or the offering of or sale of products by Elvi would contravene any applicable local, regional or national legislation. No prospective customer should seek to make any order through the site from jurisdictions in which it would be illegal for Elvi to sell products.

Legal Governance
Your use of this site and any contract between you and Elvi for the sale of products shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable for these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Copyright and Other Rights
All materials including images, illustrations, designs, layout, photographs, written and other text or script that are part of this site are protected by copyright, trade mark, trade dress and/or other intellectual property rights owned, controlled or licensed to Gatefield Developments Limited T/A Elvi. The site as a whole is protected by copyright and trade dress, all worldwide rights, titles and interests in and to which are owned by Gatefield Developments Limited T/A Elvi.

The contents of the site and the site as a whole are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or copy the contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Elvi or using the site as a shopping resource. No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the contents, the site, or any related software.

Outlet - Terms and Conditions
Goods offered at a seasonal reduction price on the Elvi web site have been at the higher price for a period of no less than 28 days.
Outlet items may be returned within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase and original packaging

Gift Voucher - Terms and Conditions
Gift vouchers are valid for a period of one year of purchase.
Vouchers can be used online only.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for monetary value and are not transferable.
Items purchased with a gift voucher will be also be returned as a gift voucher. Please note that postage costs will be returned as monetary value.
The customer will have to make an additional payment for delivery if the item is equal to the gift voucher
If the product cost is less than the gift voucher the payment will be added on to the gift voucher.

Coded Offers - Terms and Conditions
Must add code at basket, as discount codes cannot be added retrospectively. Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher or discount code and cannot be redeemed against delivery costs unless stated. Read our delivery policy for more details before completing checkout.

Refer a Friend
A 20% discount code will be issued within 24 hours of referring us.

Should there be any delay, we will inform customers in due course.

In situations where manufacturers release product in waves or partial quantities we will ship the oldest pre-orders first. Orders ship in the order that they are placed, i.e. oldest orders are shipped first.

All pre-orders require full payment at the time the pre-order is placed. If the customer wishes to change or cancel their pre-order before shipment, we will refund the full amount paid. We reserve the right to cancel any orders for any reason at any time. If we need to cancel an order we will email the customer, but are under no obligation to obtain permission or acknowledgement, prior to cancellation.

Any orders with non-pre-order items will be sent out together once item arrives in stock.
